Dear Friends,
A 12 member Junior Rowing team with 2 accompanying coaches, are leaving for Trakai, Lithuania, tomorrow, 03 Aug 2013, to participate in the World Junior Rowing Championships which starts on 04 Aug.
They will participate in pairs and fours for men and women.
This Championship is also the qualifying event for the Youth Olympic Games to be held in China next year.
India had qualified for the previous YOG held in Singapore, in the double sculls and pairs in both men and women categories.
The RFI wishes the team all the very best for the Championship.
