Can BJP & RSS Leaders STOP PROTESTS against INTOLERANCE?

Are the BJP leaders and the ministers in the NDA Government right in severely CRITICIZING and CONDEMNING the writers, scientists, artistes and other intellectuals who have been PROTESTING against the CLIMATE of INTOLERANCE created by the FANATICS of the HINDUTVA outfits?
Why is the BJP-led Government trying to SUPPRESS the FREEDOM of the PEOPLE who want to PROTEST against the INTOLERANCE?
In a DEMOCRACY, do the social reformers, writers, scientists, artistes and others have NO RIGHT to PROTEST against the INTOLERANCE of FANATICS by returning their national, literary and cinema awards? Can they not show SOLIDARITY with those scholars, rationalists and other intellectuals who are THREATENED and KILLED by HINDU FANATICS and TERRORISTS?
HINDU FANATICS do NOT want to TOLERATE anyone who is against superstitions, black magic, idol worship, caste system, untouchability and many other primitive beliefs and practices.
Such FANATICS and TERRORISTS have DIVIDED and WEAKENED the Hindu community by THREATENING and KILLING even GREAT MEN like Mahatma Gandhi.
When even the GREAT HINDU THINKERS and social reformers like Dr Narendra Dabholkar, Govind Pansare and Prof M M Kalburgi can be THREATENED, TERRORIZED and MERCILESSLY KILLED by HINDU FANATICS and TERRORISTS, can the Dalits, Muslims and Christians FEEL SAFE in India?
