SIKH RAJ, PUNJAB, OF A SIKH MONARCH RANJIT SINGH, 1799 - 14th March, 1849, WAS WORLD'S LARGEST FIRE POWER

By

Brig. Shamshul Haq QAZI

This is with regard to Head Granthi Harnam Singh ji, of Bangla Sahib Gurdwara, Delhi, while addressing to the Sikh Nation and the Sikhs of the International community (Monitored in Canada 08:00 to 09:10 hrs  MST, 29th June, 2011), on the Sikh Monarch (Maharaja) Ranjit Singh, who ruled over PUNJAB, established it as the Sikh Raj, was the world's largest 'fire power' in the world. Even the 'British Generals acknowledged that the British Empire did not have that superior fire power than what the Sikh Raj of Maharaja Ranjit Singh had (Gun and Political Developments in the Sub Continent From Medieval Times To End of Native States And  Establishment of British Rule 1849 by Brig Shamshul Haq Qazi 2004 Press Pakistan ISBN 969-8563-14-8; later quoted in the International Journal of Sikh Affairs ISSN 1481-5435 thereafter by the Editor in Chief of the journal). Giani Harnaam Singh ji gave historical quotion of the Sikh History, which had been an examples in itself. The examples which cannot be found in the history of any empire. The 'First Secular and Sovereign' nation of South Asia had been an example in itself. The Sikhs, Muslims, Christians and non-Sikhs had been equal partners of the 'First Sovereign and Secular Nation' of South Asia.

The Sikh Raj of a Sikh monarch Ranjit Singh was brought to its end, because of the stupidity of the Hindu Dogras. Even Lord Dalhousie, the British Empire's agent, had instructed his confidential person, his own son, that the British Empire is bound to lost its battle ina next few hours against the Sikh Raj's forces, and all the cofidential papers of the British Empire be destroyed. Unfortunately, the Hindu Dogras made Sikh Raj's forces to a 'defeat' in two hours' time (see the article published in one of the issue of Panth Prakash in PUNJABI, Gurmukhi, published in the late 1980s or early 1990s. Panth Prakash is the publication of the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandhak Committee, Amritsar).

It must be noted, as the Editor in Chief, of the International Journal of Sikh Affairs ISSN 1481-5435 views it, that a 'Sovereign and Secular Sikh Raj of Maharaja Ranjit Singh's state/nation/empire will never be found in the History of Mankind. The Sikh monarch was not only the ruler of a Sovereign and Secular Sikh State, but he was a sewak/servantof the 'House of Guru Baba Nanak Sahib' and a perfect example of a human, poor or rich, being. It is because of the "Sovereignty and Secular" nationhood of the Sikhs, the Sikhs have been "Struggling To Regain Their Lost Sovereignty, Independence and Political power by following the teachings of Sikh Guru Sahibaans, inscribed in Guru Granth Sahib ji, the Sikh Way of Life, The Sikh Traditions and Sarbat da Bhala or Wellness of all humanbeing; poor, rich, haves and have nots, irrespective of creed, colour, religion, etc." It must be noted that the Sikhs are world's 6th largest religion; whereas, the Hindus and their -ism are 'neither a religion nor a culture.
