টাইমস নাও টিভি চ্যানেলের মালিক কে আমি জানি না। যিনিই হোন, এই সেদিন অব্দি এরা বর্তমান সরকারের খুব প্রচার দিচ্ছিল। এখনো দিচ্ছে না নয়। কিন্তু যেকোনো কারণেই সুষমা স্বরাজ ললিত মোদী প্রশ্নে খুব পেছনে লেগেছে। এই লাগাকে আভ্যন্তরীণ বিরোধ বলেই মনে হচ্ছে। অন্য দিকে ফার্স্টপোষ্ট মূলত মুকেশ আম্বানী পরিচালিত কাগজ। তারা শুরু থেকেই বিষয়টিকে গুরুত্ব দিচ্ছে না। বরং এর আগে টাইমস নাও এবং অর্ণবগোস্বামীর বিরুদ্ধে নিবন্ধ লিখেছিল। কিন্তু আজকের এই লেখাটি পড়ে মনে হচ্ছে সংবাদপত্রও এই ফ্যাসীবাদী জমানাতে তার সমস্ত প্রচলিত মান ছেড়ে নিচে নেমে যাচ্ছে। ফেসবুক-টুইটারের 'সাইবার হিন্দুরা' যেভাষাতে আক্রামক হয়ে উঠেন, সেই ভাবেই নিবন্ধ লিখছে। আর বিদ্রূপ করে মেইন স্ট্রিম মিডিয়ার সংক্ষেপ করেছে MSM! পড়ুন, গা জ্বলছে কীরকম আঁচ করা যাবে..আগেকার জমানাতে দুর্নীতি হলেও রাজপথে নেমে প্রতিবাদ মুখর হওয়া যেতো, বর্তমান জমানা সেই চেহারাটাই না পালটে দেয়... এমনো হতে পারে যে আপনি প্রতিবাদ করলেই দেশদ্রোহী....The MSM is particularly bad about women's rights. A third reason is that, laughably enough, the media and Congress might think that any mud that sticks to the Modi (Lalit) name will indirectly hurt Modi (Narendra).
