The Union Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting, C M Jatua will launch the first ever Sindhi CD in Kolkata-'Suhinra Sindhi'

About Utsav 2010----Suhinra Sindhi-  Since January 1st, 2010 we have been trying to identify Sindhi singers in Kolkata and were very surprised to note that we actually don't have singers who have got themselves trained or given importance to Sindhi songs. Thus started the workshop with a group of 12 participants who were very excited to get trained by a teacher who has been associated with renowned singers like Asha Bhonsle ,Jagjit Singh ji and Anup Jalota  to name a few. He has also given music and playback in Bengali films. The music for the songs has been arranged by a person who again is arranging music for films and private albums.

           Gathani Cassettes has agreed to release the CD for us and finally Kolkata will have its first ever Sindhi CD—'Suhinra Sindhi'. It has two remixes of popular Sindhi songs too.

 

  The Union Minister of State, Information and Broadcasting, C M Jatua will release our CD
