A historic win . It was solely the Independent Students' Movement that by dint of its conviction ,vigor and 'never say die' spirit was able to snatch this victory after 4 long months of struggle.However it is to be borne in our minds that there are also 4 other demands that are required to be fulfilled.
So the movement will continue. Most of the students , concerned citizens participating in this movement do not adhere to any political organizations. Yet there are many who inspite of being associated with established political organizations came forward leaving the banner of their respective organizations behind. 
From the very beginning , this movement went through a lot of obstacles. 
Police crackdown, Natural calamities, lots of Malicious comments , rigidity and arrogance of the state , threatening by the chancellor , nothing absolutely nothing could prevent these rebels from forging ahead. Unified struggle endowed with various diversities , wrote history. This movement merely reflects the and reestablishes the notion , that yes people can win through their independent movements fighting till the last breath thereby being unified in situations however hostile. 
To celebrate every bit of this emphatic , historic victory , we will gather on 17th January , 2P.M. in the afternoon , at academy.Lets be a witness to history !!!

স্বাধীন ছাত্রী-ছাত্র আন্দোলন

ঐতিহাসিক জয়। দীর্ঘ ্সাড়ে চার মাসেরও বেশী সময় ধরে দলীয় পতাকাবিহীন স্বাধীন স্বতন্ত্র এই আন্দোলন জয় ছিনিয়ে আনল নিজেদের জোরে। প্রসঙ্গত এই আন্দোলনের আরও চারটি দাবী জেতা এখনও বাকি, আন্দোলনও চলবে। এই আন্দোলনে যোগ দেওয়া অধিকাংশ ছাত্রী-ছাত্রই কোন রাজনৈতিক দলের সাথে যুক্ত নন, তবে এমন আনেকেও এই আন্দোলনে আছেন যারা প্রতিষ্ঠিত রাজনৈতিক দলের সদস্য বা সমর্থক, কিন্তু তারাও এসেছেন নিজেদের রাজনৈতিক পরিচয় সরিয়ে রেখে।

শুরু থেকেই নানান বাধা-বিঘ্নের মধ্যে দিয়ে গেছে এই আন্দোলন। কিন্তু পুলিশের লাঠির মার, আস্বাভাবিক প্রাকৃতিক দুর্জয়, কুৎসা, শাসক দলের হুশিয়ারী, সময়ের ব্যবধান, রাজ্যপালের হুমকি কোনও কিছুই শেষ পর্যন্ত দমিয়ে রাখতে পারেনি এই দামাল ছেলেমেয়েগুলোকে। নানান বৈচিত্রের মধ্যেও ঐক্যবদ্ধ এই আন্দোলন এক নতুন ইতিহাস রচনা করল। নিজেদের লড়াই শেষপ্ররযন্ত দাঁতে দাঁত চেপে লড়ে যাওয়া আর অবশেষে এই জয়্য নিঃসন্দেহে দেখায় যে এখনও আন্দোলন করে জেতা যায়, যদি নানান প্রতিকূলতার মধ্যেও ঐক্যবধ্য থাকা যায়।

এই ঐতিহাসিক জয়, ঐতিহাসিক মুহূর্ত উদযাপন করতে ১৭ই জানুয়ারী দুপুর ২টোয় আকাদেমি চত্তরে একসাথে হব আমরা। যাদবপুরের ছাত্রী-ছাত্র আন্দোলন ও হোককলরবের বিজয় সমা্বেশে। আসুন বন্ধুরা আরও এক ঐতিহাসিক মুহূর্তের সাক্ষী হই।
