Palash Biswas Yes. He did say this. I have written a book on Ravindra`s dlit Vimarsh. Which has been blocked by Kedar nath Singh. Thgis is the trend. Hindutva is hijacking our icons. Vivekanand was a shudra in accordance with caste system as he was kayastha. Netaji was also a shudra. Tagore was an outcaste brahamin whose most of family is treated as untochable. They revolted forming Brahmo samaj. Micheel Madhusudan dut also wrote Meghand Badh kavy portraying Rama as villain. Most of the works have been misinterprated by the brahaminical hegemony as we failed to consolidate our front.Proper work onb history on democratic and secualr line has not been started as yet. The history of sanyasi vidroh is misinterprated as religios with vande mataram hindutva whereas it was peasnt uprising led by sc, st, obs and muslims. The history of chuar vidroh and indigo revolt are also misinterprated in the interes of the racial hegemony.We must work togther to unearth the truth and have to form democratic and social anti communal combat.
