Chinese Olympics

Dear Friends,

I am sure most of you have seen the opening cermoney of Olympics yesterday
and have you asked this question to yourself that how a nation which was at par or even below India in 1990 clould move away so fast and present such a show. Has India ever even requested for Olympics ?

We talk a lot about Indian past grlory and so had China , the nation which invednted gun powder, paper, navigation etc. but insted of living on past glory they decided to go ahead and lef all the past history on the shelf and became mor pragmatic and results are there to admire.

Did anyone notice how much they have developed in technial and electronics while we fiddle our thumbs. It is time for introspection and instead of balaming the parties in power, which we the voter elect, toi make a clear
sweep. How can any Indian look into miror and justify their talk of being world leaders and an industrial giant.

China which could hardly feedx herself for centuries is now the bioggest
industrial power and we still unable to find our path. I have read so many letters in the past about self praising ofg ourselves that an even like this makes you feel you ashamed but after we are Indians and lecture the world but it is only talk and nothing else.

It is evident from historical point that nations which stratede from scratch and didnot have dead weight of Bureucracy and red tape are the one who moved ahead while Indi still is in the grip of East India ompany syndrom and have not left either the fuedal or colonial past aside.We have followed the russian system but even Russia failed and we never learnt anything. I recognise that most of you dont want to read the truth ad thus are happy withCHALTA HAI BHAI. So keep that attitude and see where in next 20 years India ends up.

It is not the bureaucracy but even he Constituion is one of the wrost in the world which protects the corrupt. The voting system and allocation of seats by the parties in power is worst.
How does India justify after looking yesterday show calling herself an industrial nation.What indsutry do we have any development in electronics or chips? didanyone notice the size of screens which were utlised to put up this sho

India with similar number of people can produce only 55 members for olympics why beasue it is like everything else polticied. Chaines had more than 400 and even some of the smaller nations had more atheletes.The question is simple what has our nation done in past 60 years and what are we gloating about our being world biggest democracy where seats are not llocted to residents but only selected party members and recent show of Kotha was what we proud off.

A nation which lives on past glory and with no dreams and planning will not survives and I wonder will ever even catch up with any developing natgion of even previous East Europeans. We spend our time in searching articles agsinst US economy or budget while we donot even know how big this economy is but being brian wahsed by Russians misinformation we gloat over it. Why not spend sme time and ask similar questions to your own leaders and go with gusto for changes.

As timied and spineless nation, te answer is simple, we alone cant change but it is you who have let it go that things hae reched so bad. Whave to set aside our past glory and leave even the recent 60 years and start learning from now.I have alsor read from emeinent writers that Chinese stole pour this system or that but why could India not develope .

I have often written about china development but didnotsee the scope till yesterday and as saying goes where there is will there is a way but evidently we dont have a will.
