CAG REPORT FORWARDED TO THE GOVERNMENT

Kolkata: May 5, 2010

 

The Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (Revenue Receipts) – Government of West Bengal for the year ended 31 March, 2009 has been forwarded to the government on 3^rd May, 2010.

 

It may be mentioned that in accordance with the provisions of Article 151(2) of the Constitution, the Comptroller and Auditor General of India is required to forward his 'Audit Report' on the accounts of the State Government to the Governor who will cause them to be laid before the State Lagislature.
